UPCOMING BAND PARENT MEETINGS!!
Band & Images Parent meetings are held, generally, the first Wednesday of the month.  Next meeting is Wednesday, September 5, 7 pm.  Meet at the High School in the auditorium (changes to location will be emailed/on Facebook).  Meetings are on the band calendar at www.whhsband.com
Heinz Field Sign Ups
Volunteers work in a concession stand at Heinz Field during Steeler and Pitt football games or at other special events to earn money for a student's account. Volunteers must be 18 and have completed Aramark's food preparation. Please read the information on the sign up sheet carefully! There will be a few more sign up sheets added for games without times yet.

Sell for $2 and get $1 (minus 10%) in your child's account!! Pick up is September 20 from 5-6pm in the HS cafeteria - these cannot be stored as they are fresh!!  But you can freeze them!!

Pit help for away games:
As Mrs. Zollner indicated at the parent meeting, the pit needs help moving equipment onto the field for home and away games.  For home games, sign up on Bring it sheets for concession stand (see above), for away games please let her know if you can help by emailing her at mzollner@windstream.net

2018 Lottery Calendars 

2018 Lottery Calendars are now available to those who want to take advantage of this excellent fundraiser. Money due in December.

Also contact Jen if you would be willing to coordinate this fundraiser next year!!Each calendar costs $20 and contains a 3-digit number.  The winning number is based on the EVENING drawing of the PA Daily Lottery (Pick 3). Payouts are as follows:
  • Number matches pulled Monday through Saturday receive $20
  • Number matches pulled Sunday receive $50
  • Number matches on the selected holiday each month [marked by a musical note]  will receive $100.

Communication Reminder

Schoology will be the place to go for all detailed information. Parents, be sure you have access. The BPO newsletter will go out weekly in an effort to keep parents updated on activities, fundraising, and events that parents need to know. The website will also have this information and additional details regarding these activities. Please be sure to check both. Information may be duplicated (we want to make sure you know what's going on); but parent-specific information will not appear on Schoology.  If you have any issues with Schoology, please contact Mr. Hopkins. For all questions regarding the weekly updates, website, or other parent information, email whhsbpo@gmail.com.
