The Big Day Is Here! REPORT TIMES: EARLY SETUP: NOON COOKIE TABLE VOLUNTEERS; 12:30 ALL VOLUNTEERS: ARRIVE BY 2:30
Our fearless chair for the annual WHHS Marching Band & Images Visual Ensemble Classic is Laura Osterle. This is an all hands on deck event featuring great music, yummy baked goods, beautiful raffle baskets, and our ever popular, 50/50! Thank you everyone who has volunteered already! We still have slots to fill, so it's not too late to lend a hand. Go to http://whhsbandbpo.bringit.bz/public/e5ac80 to see what is available. Here are the tasks and what is involved:Parking: Assist attendees with parking at the Wolvarena parking lot.Band Escorts: Assist bands with getting to the warm up area and travelling from the WH Academy to the Wolvarena.Pit Unloading: Assist band in unloading their pit equipment.Adult Runner: Delivers messages to the press box, judges, candy-grams and other messages as neededKid Runners: Delivers messages to the press box, judges, candy-grams and other messages as needed50/50: Sell 50/50 tickets to the competition crowd.Raffle Baskets: Sell raffle tickets for baskets.Admissions: Collect money at admission booth and provide wrist bands.Cookies: Make trays of assorted cookies and sell cookies during the competition.Candygrams: Sell candygrams during the competition.Buttons: make buttons and sell them during the competition.Food Concessions: Cook food, work the cash register, or provide food to the customers (runners).Clean Up: Assist with cleaning the Wolvarena after the competition.
Please make sure your band/image member has turned in their $5 raffle basket money to their section leader. Baked goods (2 dozen items--no pre-packaged Oreos, etc.) can be delivered on Saturday starting at 1:00 PM.Highlights from Schoology regarding our competition performance:- Official report time 1:00 pm at the Wolvarena.
- Full Uniform. Under the uniform is Show Shirt, Black Shoes, Black socks.
- Competition starts at 6:00 pm; we perform at 8:45.
- Bring money to eat at the concession stand. Dinner will be around 3:30 PM.

This weekend is really busy, but we still need volunteers for Friday's October 6 game against North Hills.
